Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for accurate and timely documentation
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding appropriately to changes in condition
- Float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Adhere to facility dress code and all compliance, safety, and de-escalation protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
- Active New York State RN license (verified via current Nursys) required
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be willing and able to float to Med Surg/Telemetry when needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have own personal vehicle
- Must have completed verbal de-escalation training through an approved provider prior to onboarding
- Must be able to complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large community hospital or regional health system
- Familiarity with coronary care or other specialized critical care environments
