Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (Rotating Night/Evening) | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
- Manage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with the potential for up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
- Work rotating night and evening shifts (19:00–07:30 / 15:00–03:30) based on departmental scheduling needs
- Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed
- Adhere to required holiday scheduling as shifts are assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- BLS certification – American Heart Association only
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
- PALS certification – American Heart Association only
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI certification to be completed during onboarding
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients across all acuity levels and age ranges in a high-volume ED environment
- Comfort with floating within scope to sister Emergency Department locations as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
