About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified OR RN in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80901!

Registered Nurse - OR

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures in a fast-paced 16-suite OR
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while floating within Zone 1 as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and sterile technique
Comfortable with robotic-assisted procedures and complex spine cases
Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
Proficient with Epic electronic medical records

Requirements

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR experience with demonstrated trauma and neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred
Ability to take call within a 30-minute response window
