**Job Description:**
* Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse to join our dynamic team!
* Work in a vibrant clinical setting, providing exceptional care to Level 4 NICU patients ranging from feeder growers to complex ICU neonatal cases.
* Enjoy a supportive environment with a patient ratio of 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4, with the assistance of CNAs for our 1:4 patient assignments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead your own practice with confidence, demonstrating awareness and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* Deliver routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Respond to the diverse psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
* Administer medications and treatments following protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
* Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
* Assess learning needs and offer education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
**Job Requirements:**
* **Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
* **Experience:**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred)
* **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- Current BLS Certification (AHA only)
- Current STABLE Certification required (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants)
- Current NRP Certification required
- RN License in the state of TX or compact
**Position Qualifications:**
* Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
* New hires will be paired with a designated trained staff member for precepting, with onboarding validated through competency assessments.
* Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is essential.
*Experience in Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting is preferred.*
**Work Schedule:**
* Day shifts, 7AM - 7PM
