Opportunity:
RN - Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred
• Care for patients with diagnoses including labor and preterm labor
• Work within a unit featuring 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform roles including circulator, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor and delivery
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Support GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Administer blood and blood products, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Operate and manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Perform cardioversion/defibrillation and cooling/warming blanket procedures
• Staffing ratio of 1:1-3
• Float required to post-partum and NICU based on skill set
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, infants, and adults
• 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The unit features dedicated labor rooms and triage rooms, supporting a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic services.
