Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Pennsylvania state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience working in continuing care, assisted living, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate, develop, and implement rehabilitation plans for geriatric populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
Experience with documentation systems commonly used in post-acute care preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
Meal break: 30 minutes.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled physical therapy services within a continuing care retirement community. Deliver evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and progress documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident mobility, safety, and functional independence.

Hollidaysburg offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions within short drives. The town is minutes from the Pennsylvania Wilds region and a 30–45 minute drive to Canoe Creek State Park and Raystown Lake for boating and hiking. The Altoona Curve minor league baseball stadium and the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark are nearby, providing local entertainment and cultural points of interest. Commuting to Altoona takes about 15–20 minutes, offering additional dining and shopping options for an urban-suburban lifestyle.
