Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a broad range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
- Provide direct patient care within a Level I Trauma Center, academic teaching environment
- Participate in on-call coverage, including up to 4 call shifts per month and up to 2 weekend call shifts per month
- Participate in holiday rotation and up to 1 weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday)
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
- Experience at or familiarity with Level I Trauma environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Experience in a Magnet-designated facility or academic medical center
