Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | On-Call Required: Up to 2 weekend call shifts per month (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | Holiday work required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Radiation badge compliance (badge provided)
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience in the operating room strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
