Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | 12-Hour Shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5, adjusting based on acuity and department needs
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment within a Meditech EHR environment
- Float to like assignments as needed to support department operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput and quality care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EHR system
- Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and high level of engagement
