Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertensionmaintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting based on patient acuity
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system
- Float to like assignments as needed to support unit staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EHR system strongly preferred
- Team-oriented, engaged, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
