Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (compact or Kentucky state license)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down nursing environment
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per facility standards
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or intermediate care setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments
