Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week period | Holidays as needed | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting across night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Accurately document patient information and care delivery using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies including weekend rotation and holiday coverage requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
- Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as required for all RNs regardless of specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
- Previous experience as a Charge RN preferred
- Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
