Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week schedule | Holidays as needed | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Accurately document patient information and care delivery using the EPIC electronic health records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility policies including scheduling expectations, attendance standards, and float requirements to other campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
- Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as required for all RNs regardless of specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications
- Previous experience as a Charge RN
- Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center
