Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide emergency nursing care including management of critical and emergency infusions such as pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
- Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
- Participate in required holiday coverage, including 1–2 of the designated summer holidays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Emergency Room nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Active Iowa and/or Illinois RN state license
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required
- Valid driver's license, updated work history/resume, skills checklist completed within the past year, one supervisory reference, and copies of all required certifications required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a trauma center environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity emergency patients independently
