Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite | Guaranteed 40 Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
- Float to sister facilities within the health system as needed to meet staffing demands
- Complete required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner upon assignment confirmation
- Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal (no pending certifications accepted)
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required within 12 months of start date
- Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation)
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system
- Familiarity with high-acuity, teaching hospital environments
