This outpatient opportunity focuses on orthopedic care with comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment planning. The role includes 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions and may include occasional evening coverage. Applicants must be prepared to follow clinic policies and safety protocols and to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
- Documentation skills to complete timely, accurate medical records, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise students when assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel or contract PT experience in outpatient clinics.
- Experience with functional treatment program design aimed at community return.
- Participation in professional development and performance improvement initiatives.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5x8.
- Flexible 40-hour workweek with 1–2 evenings per week until 7:00 PM.
- Orthopedic patient population with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
