Registered Nurse - OR | Highlands, NC | 13 Weeks Contract

Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse - OR
Location: Highlands
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $1850 to $2050

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to surgical safety standards
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff during procedures
Monitor patient status throughout the surgical process
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document patient care and surgical activities accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols

Requirements

Active RN License in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification preferred
CNOR certification preferred
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
