Job Details

Position: RN - Telemetry
Location: Highlands
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $1660 to $1860

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and medical conditions
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
Respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes and medical emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards

Requirements

Active RN License in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, or Acute Care nursing experience
Current BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient assessment skills
Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
