Job Details

Position: RN - ER
Location: Salt Lake City
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $1700 to $1890

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity levels
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
Assist with trauma cases, resuscitations, and emergency procedures
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards

Requirements

Active RN License in Utah
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
Current BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
PALS Certification preferred
TNCC certification preferred
Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency environment
