Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Arcata, CA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
Current TB clearance within the previous 12 months required.
Experience in outpatient or inpatient settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience treating a broad caseload including post-operative and neurological patients preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Assignment Details

Work days: Monday through Friday.
Shift hours: 08:30 to 17:00.
Candidates must be willing to work in the specified outpatient facility setting; occasional float to other nearby facilities may be required.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions that improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Document outcomes and communicate progress to ensure continuity of care.
