Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Must have 2 years of specialty experience and 1 travel contract
• Strict 75-mile radius rule enforced
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
• BSN degree not required
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• No floating between units
• Dress code: Hunter green pants, white top, white jacket
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics with diagnoses ranging from minor walk-ins to trauma cases
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays and 1 seclusion room
• Handle approximately 70 patients per day
• Perform own lab draws and IV insertions
• Collaborate with 1 MD and 2 mid-levels per shift, 1 paramedic, and ER technicians
• Stabilize trauma patients for air evacuation transport
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

The facility maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy services and provides emergency care ranging from minor injuries to critical trauma cases. The department includes fast-track clinic rooms for lower acuity patients and utilizes air evacuation services for critical patient transfers, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through coordinated emergency care.
