Position Summary:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Post Anesthesia Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. Job Requirements:
2 years of experience required
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Active RN license or compact license required at time of submission
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references are required; at least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity
References from coworkers are not accepted
Must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Traveler must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract
Travelers must drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking if currently outside the state but within driving distance
Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt
There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start, no exceptions
Must not have any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking
Distance Requirements
Travelers currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio
Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet
Other Required Documentation:
Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
