Position Summary:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate MedSurg / Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 36 hours per week contract in Columbus, OH. Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years RN experience required
BLS certification required
EPIC experience required
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
Previous travel experience preferred
Must have valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references required; at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership capacity
Traveler must be willing to complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Former employees eligible for travel assignment if away from facility for 6 months or more
Current employees ineligible for traveler position at any Ohio State University hospital location
Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions only
Travelers currently outside of Ohio but within driving distance must drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking
Travelers extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which must be completed urgently upon receipt
Candidates must be made aware of the urgency of the Ohio fingerprinting process
Scheduling may include days, nights, or a combination of both
Shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period but changes are not guaranteed
Distance Requirements
Travelers must be within driving distance of Ohio for fingerprinting requirements
Other Required Documentation:
Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
