Opportunity:
RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends schedule required
• No call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring
• Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
• Work with specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Must have EFM, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation skills
• Perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Experience in Level IV unit (high volume) preferred
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; no t-shirts allowed, solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts only
• Must adhere to attendance policy
• Team player with positive attitude required
Facility:
This medical center features a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor with 32 beds and a staff of 150 healthcare professionals. The facility maintains high standards for maternal and newborn care with specialized equipment and experienced staff providing round-the-clock coverage. The unit operates as a Level IV facility handling high-volume deliveries and complex cases, ensuring patients receive expert care during one of life's most important moments.
