Opportunity:
RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY (708) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends schedule required
• No call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must maintain 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring
• Must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
• Must be competent in EFM, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation
• Work with equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Document in Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only (no t-shirts)
• Must maintain positive attitude and work effectively as part of team
• Must adhere to attendance policy
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
Facility:
This medical center features a comprehensive 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor with a dedicated staff of 150 healthcare professionals. The facility operates as a Level IV high-volume unit providing advanced maternal and neonatal care services. The department maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex deliveries and emergency situations, with structured staffing including charge nurses and co-charge nurses on both day and night shifts to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
