Opportunity:
Labor & Delivery RN
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
• Epic charting system experience required
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekends per contract (nights include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Self-scheduling available
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Care for neonates and adult patients in LDRP unit
• Daily census of 14 patients with 15 beds available
• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Modules completed onsite during orientation (4-6 hours for RN)
• State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• No license hits accepted

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive women's services department with a focus on labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. The facility maintains a 15-bed LDRP unit with modern equipment and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The organization emphasizes quality maternal and neonatal care with comprehensive support services.
