Opportunity:
SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (708) - Wesley Medical Center - 7P - 7A
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel position in Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for high risk labor and c-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, postpartum on magnesium; 1:3 for postpartum magnesium without baby and outpatients
• Must have minimum 1 year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN
• Preferred skills include circulating c-sections and high-risk LDR experience
• Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitors
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Perform typical procedures including c-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler
• Self-scheduling available for staff satisfaction
• Team nursing approach with collaborative support
• Strong leadership team that works the floor when needed
• Work alongside many tenured nurses with 20-40 years of experience
• Support from new OB Hospitalist program providing attending support
Facility:
This medical center operates a comprehensive 26-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a team of 112 staff members providing around-the-clock maternity care. The facility features modern equipment and technology, utilizes team nursing approaches, and maintains strong leadership support. The unit offers self-scheduling options and has implemented a new OB Hospitalist program to enhance patient care and provide additional support to nursing staff and residency programs.
