Opportunity:
SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (708) - Wesley Medical Center - 7A - 7P
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Seasonal travel assignment position
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for high risk labor and c-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag; 1:3 for PP mag no baby and outpatients
• Self-scheduling available for flexibility
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN
• Preferred experience with circulating c-sections and high risk LDR
• Typical procedures include c-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler
• Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitors
• Use Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
• Team nursing approach with supportive colleagues and strong leadership
• Must demonstrate compassionate, caring, friendly, patient and solutions-oriented personality
• Work alongside experienced nursing team with many tenured nurses having 20-40 years of experience
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Labor & Delivery unit with 26 beds and a staff of 112 healthcare professionals. The facility features modern equipment and technology to support high-quality maternal and newborn care. The unit maintains a team nursing approach with strong leadership support and offers a new OB Hospitalist program that provides attending physician support to the residency program and nursing staff in triage. The facility is known for its collaborative work environment and commitment to excellent patient care.
