Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown Unit (HVTI)
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation from 7:00 PM-7:30 AM/7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for same patient population
• Must work at least every other holiday
• 18 months combined permanent experience in stepdown specialty required
• 18 months of recent stepdown experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred but not required
• Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with acceptable scores required
• Two managerial references from specialty required from past 12 months
• Complete 4-15 hours of pre-start modules with 4 hours billable
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start date
