Opportunity:
Cath Lab RN Needed for MUSC
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1 year minimum experience required, first-timers accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• On-call required: 1-2 nights per week, one weekend in a six-week period, holiday call possible
• Work in 5 catheterization lab rooms plus hybrid operating room
• Handle right and left heart catheterization diagnostics, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral and vascular procedures
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 23
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• South Carolina or multi-state/compact license required at start of contract
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required: interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, scrub procedures
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
