**Job Description:**
- Must have previous travel experience.
- After three call outs, contract will be terminated.
- Ability to read telemetry strips is mandatory.
- Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on:
- Arrhythmia readings
- Moderate sedation
- Heparin distribution
- Failure to pass the test will result in cancellation of the contract.
- Required certifications before the start of the assignment:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- CPI (or MAB)
- Facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract.
- Floating is required within the candidate's scope of practice.
- Ideal candidates should possess the following:
- No set schedule
- At least two years of ICU experience in the past three years
- Availability to work weekends
- Willingness to refrain from requesting excessive time off
- Ability to work holidays (not all holidays can be requested off)
- Candidates must be reliable, transparent, and present to work.
- Charge or preceptor duties may be required and will be reflected on the candidate's timesheet.
- Compliance clearance is required ten days prior to orientation.
- Orientation dates are available for the following RN specialties:
- ED
- Med Surg
- Tele
- Forensics (M/S-Tele)
- ICU
- NICU
- Postpartum
- Labor & Delivery
