**Exciting ICU Travel Nurse Opportunity!**
Job Description:
- Must have previous travel experience.
- After three callouts, your contract will be terminated.
- Ability to read telemetry strips is essential.
- Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on:
- Arrhythmia readings
- Moderate sedation
- Heparin distribution
- Failure to pass the tests will lead to contract cancellation.
- Certifications required before the start of the assignment:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- CPI (or MAB)
- The facility is able to cancel 1 shift every four weeks during the contract.
- Floating is required within your scope of practice.
- Ideal candidates:
- Must have no set schedule
- At least 2 years of ICU experience in the past three years
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Refrain from requesting a lot of time off
- Available to work holidays (cannot request all holidays off)
- Reliable and transparent
- Present and ready to work
- Charge or preceptor roles may be required and reflected on the timesheet.
- Compliance clearance is needed 10 days prior to orientation.
- Orientation dates are set for the following RN specialties:
- ED
- Med Surg
- Tele
- Forensics (M/S-Tele)
- ICU
- NICU
- Postpartum
- Labor & Delivery
