**Join Our Team as a Critical Care RN - Nights!**
**Job Description**
- SHIFT: NIGHTS 7PM-7AM
- START: ASAP
**Required Certifications/Licenses:**
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- Current BLS Certification from AHA
- Current ACLS Certification from AHA
- Current TNCC Certification required
**Your Role:**
- As a Registered Nurse, lead patient care in a critical setting, tailoring your approach to the specific needs of diverse age groups.
- Coordinate, implement, and prioritize patient care efficiently and safely.
- Exhibit outstanding clinical judgment, modifying care plans as necessary based on patient evaluations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to establish care priorities.
- Re-assess patients regularly to track progress and identify needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring they are measurable and time-sensitive.
- Engage in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures promptly and accurately.
**Team Collaboration:**
- Employ effective communication strategies to achieve desired outcomes in patient care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring timely completion of care support activities.
- Coordinate team assignments, maintaining adaptability based on unit needs.
- Contribute positively to a supportive work environment by mentoring new staff/students.
**Customer Relations:**
- Foster high levels of patient and customer satisfaction through respectful and compassionate interactions.
- Uphold the hospital's integrity and positive image through professional conduct.
**Other Responsibilities:**
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Take charge of your professional growth and skill development.
**Requirements:**
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
- Skills:
- Current knowledge and skills relevant to patient demographics.
- Ability to communicate clearly according to the developmental age of patients.
