Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 3+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations
• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Provide care in 64-bed emergency department with triage, acute care, super track, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric areas
