Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM
• Emergency Department position with charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must have 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients across all age groups: newborn, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric
• Work in 64-bed unit with 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed

The facility is equipped with advanced specialty equipment and maintains multiple specialized areas including trauma bays, clinical decision units, and psychiatric beds. The emergency department handles a wide range of complex medical conditions and maintains high standards for emergency medical care with modern technology and comprehensive treatment capabilities.
