We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician at our Waialua HI facility.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform production activities such as field work, production and warehouse, plant and field maintenance, and other processes including leading work areas.
- Use automation and computerized systems to perform work tasks (computers and iPads).
- Complete production and warehousing activities including receiving, husking and sorting corn, drying and shelling operations, forklift operation, loading and unloading, collecting samples, etc.
- Complete field related activities such as planting, irrigation activities, fertilizing, land and field maintenance, roguing, detasseling, scouting, data collection, pest management, etc.
- Operation and maintenance of a wide range of agriculture equipment and implements (tractor, UTV, etc.).
- Various other duties as assigned.
Education:
- You have your High School Diploma/GED.

- You value health and safety, and you always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day.
- You look at problems to find a solution and love solving them.
- You value working as a team; you are proactive, communicate concerns, and are accepting of change.
- You can work independently, multitask, and maintain an organized workplace.
- You have at least one year of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture or warehousing.
- Willing and able to work in cold environments. You are also willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You are willing and able to work shiftwork and overtime hours including occasional weekend work which may be required during seasonal peaks (January - April and September – November) to support production goals.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work.
- Experience with forklift, tractor, and other equipment operation.

The salary range for this position is $56,368.00 to $70,470.00.
This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
