Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts
• Start date: ASAP
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required with exposure to at least 100 patients per day
• Must be experienced with 4:1 patient ratios
• Patient ratio: 4:1 for nights and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 95 patient visits per day in a 22-room, 30-bed emergency department
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Self-scheduling environment
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, triage, phlebotomy, and care of ventilated patients
• Must complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours
• Local travelers within 50 miles of facility not eligible
