CONTRACT - RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY (708) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Maintain 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
• Work in a 32-bed unit with approximately 150 staff members
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring
• Must have Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), SVE competency, and C-Section circulation experience
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Work with equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Previous HCA assignment/employment preferred
• Experience in Level IV unit (high volume) preferred
• Must adhere to strict attendance policy
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; t-shirts not acceptable, solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts only
• Team player mentality and positive attitude essential
Facility:
This medical center features a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor of the North building. The facility operates a high-volume Level IV unit with 32 beds and maintains excellent staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care. The unit utilizes advanced monitoring equipment and technology, with experienced staff providing specialized maternal and neonatal care. The facility emphasizes teamwork and maintains high standards for patient safety and clinical excellence.
