Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry. The selected clinician will provide high-quality care to patients on the Wheeler 5 unit, utilizing medical-surgical skills alongside continuous cardiac monitoring.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Policies
- Clinical Setting: General MedSurg & Telemetry patient care environment.
- Floating Policy: Floating is possible to similar clinical units as needed within the facility.
- Clinical Competency: A telemetry competency exam will be administered on the first day of orientation.
- Submission Protocol: An HWL Coversheet is strictly required for all candidate submissions.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior MedSurg/Telemetry experience is required.
- Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience is mandatory.
- Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the Meditech Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is required.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (MA).
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or ARC.
