Job Details:
• 2 years of experience required
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Work with labor and preterm labor patients
• Operate in 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Responsibilities include circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor & delivery
• Administer blood/blood products, perform cardioversion/defibrillation
• Manage cooling/warming blankets, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps
• Handle wound VAC therapy and medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Assist with GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Staffing ratio: 1:1-3
• Float required to post-partum and NICU based on skill set
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually
