Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Cardiothoracic ICU nursing position
• Experience with fresh hearts is required
• Care for 6 CTICU beds
• Common patient diagnoses include cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, and AAA
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC experience required
• Travel experience required
• 75-mile radius rule applies for travel rates
• Local candidates (less than 75 miles) accepted at reduced rate

This healthcare facility features a specialized 6-bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit that provides critical care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery and experiencing complex cardiac conditions. The facility maintains advanced cardiac care capabilities and serves patients with high-acuity cardiovascular needs, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients, cardiogenic shock cases, and abdominal aortic aneurysm patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized nursing care.
