**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Department - Nights!**
Join a dynamic Emergency Department team where your nursing skills and critical thinking will shine!
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Shift:** Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12s)
- **Availability:** Start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required
- **Emergency Room:** 38 beds
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care to Emergency Room patients
- Utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment
- Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
- Provide leadership and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Charge Nurse experience (additional $3/hr.)
- Willingness to float to different departments
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) — Cerner experience required
- Trauma Level III Certified
- Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving process experience
- NIH Stroke Scale training is preferred but not required
