**Job Description**
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to enhance your nursing career in a beautiful and vibrant setting? Join us as an Operating Room RN and provide exceptional perioperative nursing care across all phases of the surgical experience! Here’s what you can expect:
- **Diverse Responsibilities:**
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia recovery phases.
- Function in multiple roles, including circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU RN to support safe and efficient surgical operations.
- **Impactful Contributions:**
- Your contributions will be highly visible and directly impact patient outcomes in our critical access hospital setting.
- **Collaborative Environment:**
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- **On-Call Rotation:**
- Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring one night per week and every fourth weekend, with a 30-minute response time when on call.
**Required Qualifications**
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Current Vermont or multi-state RN license required
- Minimum of two years of perioperative experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work across multiple perioperative roles, with training available for skill development
