### Join Our Critical Care Team: Registered Nurse - Nights
**Job Description**
- **Shift:** Nights (7PM - 7AM)
- **Start:** ASAP
**Your Role:**
- As a Registered Nurse, you'll be a vital part of the healthcare team, coordinating and delivering exceptional patient care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide quality care in a safe environment that aligns with our mission, philosophy, and goals.
- Engage in hands-on clinical practice and cultivate strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct initial assessments and set priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Systematically re-assess patients to monitor progress and identify trends for intervention.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans within established time frames.
- Make informed nursing decisions, adapting care plans based on evaluations.
- Participate in health education and discharge planning in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Perform timely and appropriate interventions based on patient needs and document actions accurately.
- Conduct various Point of Care testing procedures.
**Staff Leadership:**
- Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Delegate tasks to ensure the completion of essential patient care activities.
- Coordinate team assignments and adjust as needed to meet patient and unit demands.
- Assist with orientation and training of new staff and students.
- Serve as a resource for visitors, physicians, and fellow staff members.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting professionalism and responsiveness to new ideas.
**Customer Relations:**
- Create a high level of patient satisfaction through respectful interactions and communication.
- Demonstrate effective human relations that cultivate teamwork and harmony.
- Display behaviors that uphold the hospital's credibility and positive image.
- Support the continuous improvement of services and operations.

- Undertake special projects as assigned.
- Interpret and communicate Human Resources policies effectively.

**Requirements:**
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC Certifications.
- Skills:
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
- Sensitivity to patients' rights in care delivery.
- Clear communication that is suitable for the developmental age of patients.
