Job Description:
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room setting, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages including neonates, geriatrics, and pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to walk-in traumas and manage a variety of patient types including cardiac, neuro, GI, respiratory, and psychological cases.
- Perform procedures such as chest tube insertion, central line management, and medication administration.
- Function as a charge nurse and manage ventilator/BiPAP care.
- Participate in floating to various OCED sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Completion and passing of Traveler Telemetry Competency prior to start.
- Proficient in EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems.
- Strong IV and customer service skills are necessary.
