Job Description:
This position involves the provision of clinical nursing care in the Emergency Room department, with responsibilities that include managing patient intubations and providing care across a wide demographic, from neonates to geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to intubated patients; training for ventilator and BiPAP management will be provided.
- Manage a variety of patient conditions ranging from cardiac, neuro, GI, respiratory, psych, and trauma.
- Float to different Off-Campus Emergency Departments (OCED) as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC.
- Strong ED experience with skills in medication administration, chest tubes, central lines, and IV.
- Completed and passed Traveler Telemetry Competency prior to start.
