Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU unit to provide care to neonates of all gestational ages in a 28-bed, Level 3 NICU with an average census of 13-16. Responsibilities include managing various diagnoses such as low birth weight and high-frequency ventilation without ECMO or cardiac surgery involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to neonates
- Manage ventilators and IV starts
- Administer and titrate IV medications
- Support and attend neonatal resuscitations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of NICU experience
- Registered Nurse licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
- BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE preferred
- Experience with EPIC charting system
