Job Description:
Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients aged 0-18 years in both General Pediatric and PICU settings. Experience required with care of patients encompassing a range of diagnoses and critical care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to both General Pediatric and PICU patients
- Utilize advanced assessment skills and administer medications
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team for best patient outcomes
- Document patient care using EPIC charting system
Requirements:
- 1.5 years of PICU RN experience
- Valid RN license from South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Proficiency in physical assessment and patient care skills
- Experience with EPIC charting and use of Omnicell
