Travel RN Job Details
- Position Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment
- Location: Des Moines, IA 50314 (On-Site) – Iowa nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/23/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Resource Pool
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750–$1800
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license required (Medical/Surgical and Telemetry certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry nursing role
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Meet all onboarding requirements, including background check, health screenings, competency testing, and vaccinations
- Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding quickly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized healthcare environment
