Travel RN Job Details

- Shift: 10 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1810 - $1950
- Employment Type: W2 Travel Nursing Contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to float within the Resource Pool as needed
- Successful completion of onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing)
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
